Labor and Delivery Nurse New

Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN – Travel Opportunity in Cornelius, NC

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team at a newly opened facility in Cornelius, North Carolina. This is a travel contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Weekly Gross: $2,521

• W2: $29/hr
• Per Diem: $1,477/week

Position Details:

• Location: Cornelius, NC
• Shift: 12-hour nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Facility Type: Community Hospital (non-teaching, no trauma designation)
• Beds: 2 triage rooms, 4 LDRs, 9 Mother-Baby, 1 C-section suite
• Unit EMR: Epic
• Floating: Required within regional facilities as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of recent LDRP experience
• Must be proficient with:
• Circulating C-sections
• Postpartum and newborn care
• Lactation support
• NAS scoring
• NRP and EFM skills
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM
• Will not accept first-time travelers
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Info:

• Scrubs provided (hospital-issued)
• Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Must be willing to work 75% of holidays
