Emergency Room Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring an Emergency Room Travel Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Concord, North Carolina. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to ED patients including trauma (GSW, stabbings, MVA, falls) and medical conditions (stroke, heart failure, COPD, etc.)
• Administer critical care drips and blood products
• Perform procedures such as PIV starts, chest tube and drain management, NGT placement, and conscious sedation
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Provide care for pre-cardiac cath patients, and patients requiring fluid resuscitation
• Manage patients with ETOH withdrawal (CIWA), IV drug abuse, mental health conditions, and infections
• Support stroke protocols and trauma resuscitation
• Float to other facilities as needed within Region 1 (Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Freestanding EDs, Lake Norman, CMC Main, Mercy, LCH)

Qualifications:

• RN License (Compact or State-Specific)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
• 2 years of ED experience

Pay Range: $51.22 per hour (Negotiable)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
