Registered Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Albemarle, North Carolina. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Unit: 35-bed Med/Tele
• Primary Responsibilities: General Med/Surg care, stroke assessments, post-op & orthopedic care, chest tube & drain management, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration (cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products).
• Support: CNAs, charge nurse (may be in staffing), RT, hospitalist, intensivist (24/7), telemetry tech (RNs read own strips when floated).
• Technology: EPIC EMR, Alaris IV Pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors.
• Floating: Required within hospital (Med/Tele, ICU, PCU, ED) and region (Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division). Paid for mid-shift floating travel.

Qualifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• 2 years of experience as a Med/Tele RN

Pay Range: $50.00 per hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
